This one is a blast from the past too.
I met her during an “attraction workshop.”
We were out at the Kitsalano street festival.
This girl and I got talking.
She was an “at least cute” girl who was fairly intellectual. She worked with autistic kids and had a strong psychology background.
She expressed being pretty introverted.
The organizer thought I came on too strong.
That I shouldn’t have given her hugs.
But I was in flow and felt pretty good about it.
She did not resist though she did back away from me a couple times when I tried to position myself within range so I could potentially “kino” her.
My “number close” was not textbook.
I came away with more than anybody else did.
None of the other guys scored a number like I did with her!
The next week I texted her to ask how she was doing, but never heard back from her. So a few weeks later I woke up with the thought I could write her another text, this time asking her what I should do about this girl I’d met.
“So there’s this cute, intelligent, introverted girl,” I wrote.
“I met her a few weeks back and I’d really like to get to know her.”
“But she didn’t message me back.”
“What do you think I should do?”
She replied, “Hmmm…that’s a tough one. Girls are funny sometimes. I would maybe try messaging her again. We’re all on our own process here and I think people do things because of where they’re at in their process. Maybe ask her out for a coffee…Let me know what she says!”
“Cool. Thanks for your advice,” I said.
“I’ll let you know how it goes!”
Then after about 1.5 hours?
I once again messaged her.
“Hey! It’s been a few weeks since we met in Kitsilano at the street event. I sent you a text that week but I think it must have fallen through a cyber crack lol! Anyway I really enjoyed talking with you and would like to pick up where we left off. I was thinking dessert and a seawall walk. Would you like that?”
“Hey…good to hear from you!”
“Damn cyber cracks…can’t trust anything nowadays!”
“Yeah, ice cream and a sea wall walk sounds nice.”‘
“Let me know where and when and I’ll be there!”
So what do you think? Could you do what I did and push through a girl’s “resistence” like this, for the possiblity of receiving such a great answer if you do?
