The Difference Between Overcoming Porn Addiction And Swearing Off Of Porn (Part 2)

So Part 1 was apparently a popular one!

The number of hits that day was 3 times my usual.

Even my porn addiction landing page?

It saw some MASSIVE action.

What this tells you, is you are not alone in wishing you could kick this stubborn habit. Even though what I’m talking about gives you hope though? You probably still find yourself hesitant to contact me.

Truth be told?

You’re probably just like I was.

Since you’ve tried to quit so many times?

You don’t BELIEVE it will make a difference.

You’ve spent so many years strugging to control yourself with the “porn thing,” that you’ve simply lost all hope you can ever truly be free of it.

I’m here to tell you that ISN’T true.

You CAN be free if you want to.

I can help you accomplish this.

I’ve DONE IT.

So I KNOW HOW to help you!

I grew up in the Evangelical Christian church, where everybody is always TALKING about “victory.” But when the rubber meets the road nobody there knows what to do, because secretly they all have the same problem!

Your church leaders are misleading you.

They set you at war with your God given desires.

They tell you to overcome porn addiction?

You have to swear off porn as well.

In doing so they are acting like the medical world does, when it ignores the real problem and only treats the symptom. The answer is not to stop “looking at girls.” It is to develop self-control, and a healthy relationship to your sexuality.

Telling you to suppress your natural sexual desires?

That’s only going to make things worse for you.

No, it doesn’t mean the answer is just to “go for it” either.

You DO have to bring yourself into balance.

In my book Lust Is Not The Problem: Porn and the Modern Christian, I talk about the beach ball phenomenon. You can no more ignore your natural sexual desires, than you can continuously keep a beach ball under water.

If you try that. you’re going to “act out” eventually.

And when you do, it’s not gonna be pretty.

I know you know what I’m talking about.

Isn’t it time to learn what I know about beating this?

What do you think? Are you ready NOW to make a move, and take this whole “porn thing” on with my help so you can finally beat it? Then don’t wait another day to reach out to me, so we can start getting you back your freedom!
